We're excited to visit Knies Kinderzoo in Rapperswil-Jona, a zoo designed with children in mind. It's conveniently located on Oberseestrasse, near Seedamm and Rapperswil railway station, right on the shores of Lake Zurich.

Our trip to Knies Kinderzoo is a fantastic opportunity to learn about a diverse range of animals from around the world and engage in captivating activities. You'll have the chance to get up close with majestic elephants, playful penguins, meerkats, colorful parrots, and more. The little ones can also enjoy thrilling animal rides, from pony to camel rides. Don't miss the fascinating feeding sessions, where you can witness unique animal behaviours. It’ll be a day filled with wonder and adventure for the whole family.

During our visit, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings and join Afro Swiss Families for a potluck-style barbecue, where we all contribute. Don't forget to bring your favourite summer treats to grill and share with everyone.
