The Board

The Afro Swiss Families Board is a voluntary, unpaid leadership group made up of parents and caregivers raising Afro-European children in contemporary Switzerland and actively engaged in the Afro Swiss Families community. The board guides the strategic direction and development of the organization, ensuring it remains rooted in its mission to create a space where multi-ethnic and multicultural families can connect, celebrate, explore, learn, play, and reflect. Board members contribute their time, skills, and experiences to strengthen the community, support monthly Meet & Play gatherings, develop impactful programs, expand offerings, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the project. As the community grows, the board remains committed to expanding access and fostering inclusion across age groups and developmental stages.
